1. How Do I Register for the GMAT exam?

It’s a pretty simple process.

You can register for the GMAT exam at www.mba.com, which is the official GMAT website.

Sign up and create your account by choosing “Register for the GMAT” under “The GMAT Exam” on the main page.

2. What Skills Are Tested on the GMAT?

There are four sections in the GMAT test which test the necessary skills that you will need in B-schools and corporate business career: Analytical Writing, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Skills, and Verbal Skills.

The Analytical Writing section tests your skills to analyze any given argument, critique, and communicate effectively in an essay format in standard English.

3. How Long Should I Study for the GMAT?

The answer to this question would depend on your current skill level, circumstances, and your target GMAT score.
An average preparation time would be three months before you take the test with regular studies each week clocking around 10 hours per week.

If you are looking at a very high score, then it’s best to start preparing six months in advance so that you are well-versed not only with the GMAT exam but the format as well. You will also have time to target your weaknesses and master them.
