Category : GMAT
The upcoming dates for submission of (2016-17) MBA applications are releasing by top B-schools. Several applicants are waiting in anxiety for the announcement to be made from Harvard Business School. So far, the big news is that the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School has moved forward its round one enrolment deadline by eight days, September 19, 2017.
This includes Stanford, which has the same round one cut-off date.

An early bird catches the worm.
It better to file-in your applications than to wait for a later date. In the earlier dates it is easy to get enrolled quickly. It is because none of the seats are filled. The applicants who seek early admission have an advantage over those who start their submissions later. The other reasons are:
- A scholarship
- Enough time to complete the curricula in both Quant and Verbal
- Early housing access in B-school or university campus
- International student’s get plenty of time to fulfill application process for VISA
However, the best time for submission of applications is when you feel you have all the necessarry documnts ready. A hurried filing process could create anxious moments. It is better to wait and proceed. You can also consider applying in the next round. The top B-schools are always looking for an excuse to cut off candidates who apply. At least 20 out of 100 applications have some loopholes. So do not fall in that category.
